The Oxford Online Placement Test was created by Oxford University Press, the publishing arm of Oxford University. The OOPT has been pretested and validated by more than 190,000 students in 60 countries. The test is periodically updated to ensure quality and accuracy.
There are two parts to the OOPT: 1) Use of English, and 2) Listening. When you take the test, the score on each section will be averaged to give a final score (out of 120 points). This final score will correlate with a CEFR rating (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
