Hey, I'm having some problems with the preposition equal to English "on". Are there some spesific rules for when to use à, en, dans and sur? :)

    à = at, to
    "en" = in but there are specific rules
    "dans" = in (inside of something)
    "sur" = on
    but we don't use always the same prepositions like in english. You must be aware of that!

    sur means 'on' and dans means 'in' , they are easy to distinguish, however they have some usages that are figurative and abstract ,that come in the form of a mode of expression.

    As for "à" and "en" ,it is more difficult to differentiate between them.
