What is the difference between "God kveld" and "God aften!" in Norwegian?

Both greetings' English translations are "Good evening!" Is there any difference between them? If there's, then what?

Both are interjections in Norwegian, having same meaning as you have mentioned. You can use any of them to your like.

No, there is no difference in the meaning of the two expressions, but "God kveld" is more commonly used.
