Resolved questions
modal verbs
I don't really understand about how to use the modal verbs. Especially about the grammar. For example, I have a sentence here.
Zij blijft niet thuis (mogen).
May I put the mogen like this? Zij mag niet thuis blijven.
Or I have to put the niet at the end of the sentence? And is it a correct sentence? I'm not sure about my answer.
Thanks.

"Zij mag niet thuis blijven." is correct.
'niet' comes after 'mogen' and not after 'blijven' same as in English
"may not stay" vs "may stay not"
