"You make my day" is an English idiom that means "you have said or done something that makes my day much better". We spend much of our time, as humans, searching for happiness. When someone else adds to that happiness, it is a common English expression to say, "you made my day!" It is also used occassionally to mean "I would love to do something that would normally be wrong, but if you give me a good reason that would be great!" An example of that might be a police officer who has just captured a criminal. If the criminal starts reaching for a weapon and the police officer knows he can stop the action, he might say, "Go ahead... make my day!"

In English, when someone does something nice for you or gives you a compliment, you can respond by saying "You made my day," meaning that what they did or said made you feel good.

If any everything happen according to you or something special happen which give you immense pleasure and it happen because of someone then you thanks him/her by telling this words also.
