Undecided questions
What would be some good questions for her to ask herself about this situation?

"A woman goes for a haircut at a national hair-cutting chain. The hairdresser asks her what brand of shampoo she uses. He then puts some of her hairs under a microscope and shows her that there is a white film on the hairs. He recommends that she buys the store’s brand of shampoo rather than the one she has been using."
This is a scene set on our class. We were asked to use critical thinking. How will you answer this question?

I would say that you have to examine the salon's motives for selling an expensive shampoo to the client because that is part of their strategy. They have to sell certain brands more expensively to increase their profit margin.
