Should I learn the Thai alphabet and how to read Thai before learning other things like vocabulary and grammar. Or should I learn the Thai script while learning things with English transliterations at the same time?

there is no exactely the rules which one should come first.
as far as the method works for you, and comfortable to you.
the goal is to reconised the individual alphabets.
