Today you have to be a bop?

A Dutch friend said " today you have to be a bop " means you cannot drink any alcohol, because you will have to drive.

"Bop" or "Bob"? where does it come from?

Thank you

BOB: Bewust OnBeschonken (freely translated: consiously not drunk)
It's a term invented by.. the government or the association for safety in traffic I think. The term has only been around for about 5 years.
