are you guys celebrating a holiday or something this week in India? just curious...cuz most of the offices in India are closed.

Yes You are right friend. Yesterday was "Diwali" also called "Deepawali" It is the biggest festival in India. Known as the festival of Lights on this day Houses are decorated with lights, Gifts and sweets are exchanged between dear ones, Prayers are offered in holy places and Lot's of fireworks on Diwali Night :)
