The letter ה sounds like "hey". and you pronounce is as "Shmoneh"
most of the words that ends with ה sounds like "A"
"Shmoneh" is an exception.
but it doesn't really matter is you say Shmoneh or Shmonah.
Shmoneh could change when your talking about Nouns. I mean Male\Female Nouns.
for guys you say Shmonah (שמונה בנים)
for girls its Shmoneh (שמונה בנות)
