If you believe in God, in God's word ( Holy Bible) is writen very clear answer to your question, whats is happening after death.
Well, I don't think there is anything special after death. Dying is like a cloud vanishes in my opinion. The cloud would become the rain or the air, the sea, the river. But no one knows which is the cloud between them.
