Traditional Chinese might be a bit difficult to learn and takes a every long time to knows alot of vocabs and word componenets, but ofcourse you can still learn it, but it would take alot of hard work and tons of memorization.
Anyhow you can start by learning words with fewer strokes.
For example words like
小 少 口 上 下 出 入 日 天 those words with very few strokes are a good start to learn (ofcourse there are many more of them)
then start to learn the different Chinese character component
For exmaple the word "他" it's combined with 2 parts and the main component of that word is "人"
For exmaple the word "明" it's combined with 2 parts and the main component of that word is "日"
those type of stuff
then if you're really familiar with those stuff you can try to learn more complicated words with tons of strokes, such as 艷 嚴 驗 講 激 極 戟 墼, which is more advance.
