Undecided questions
"up till" and "not until"

The boy slept up till 2 PM yesterday.
Not until 2 PM, the boy slept.

I remember I heard both of these two sentences before.
How to use "up till" and "not until"?

Additional Details:

I just want to have example for " not until" and " up till". I heard them a lot recently.
Thank you!

    Hello Fallen,
Until/till is used only to talk about time. To talk about distance, we use to, as far as or up to; up to is also used to talk about quantity.

We walked as far as/up to the edge of the forest. (NOT …until/till the edge of the forest.)
You can earn up to $100 a week.

It is sometimes possible to use until/till before a place name in the sense of ‘until we get to …’.

Go straight on until/till you come to the post office and then turn left.

The right word is "until" in all these situations. If you are quoting someone's speech, and they leave off part of the word, it is written like this: 'till. If you are not quotiing someone, and writing a sentence, the word is "until".

I think I'll let him sleep until 9 O'clock. I will turn off the lights, but not until it's 10 PM.
Mother said "I'll watch t.v. 'till 11 p.m. then I'll turn it off".
