Resolved questions
Do adjectives always come after nouns and can they come before? Please give me examples...thank you.

In Farsi, adjectives come after the noun. gol e sorkh
but in English, it is always before the noun (except for some dramatic,poetic,stylish or exceptional cases.). the red rose.

As other friends said in Farsi adjectives come after nouns like :

کار خوب = nice job

دختر زیبا = pretty girl

but some times adjectives can come before the nouns and this will happen :

A: in Poetry:

like in this phrase : شکر لب = sb with sweet pretty lips
and
گل اندام = a body beatiful like flower :) ;) in the verse below which is by Hafez :

با یار شکر لب گل اندام بی بوس و کنار خوش نباشد
( means being with a beautiful tender lover is enjoyable only when you have her love and her kiss and hug. :) )

B: in Farsi Grammar:

1. superlative adjectives: the best car = بهترین ماشین
2. Some special adjectives that shows surprise and exclamation as : what a doll != چه عروسکی
3. An adjective which is in the form of a question: which city =کدام شهر
4. ordina numbers as adjectivel : the second meeting = دومین جلسه

Hi Msfatima.I hope it's not too late.as others said adjectives always don't come after nouns in general;but in your level of learning you just need to know these three forms(I think):
-use adjectives after nouns :رستوران خوب (good restaurant),گل زیبا (beautiful flower)
-use them after nouns for "Comparative" uses : رستوران بهتر (better restaurant),گل زیباتر (more beautiful flower)
-use them before nouns for "Superlative" uses : بهترین رستوران (the best restaurant), زیباترین گل (the most beautiful flower)
