Help with a paragraph in Hindi
I just don't understand the meaning of this expression with वाला: यूपीए गठबंधन का नेतृत्व करने वाली कांग्रेस, and I know उम्मीद is "expectation", but I can't see the sense in this setence.
This is the context:
केंद्र में सत्ताधारी यूपीए गठबंधन का नेतृत्व करने वाली कांग्रेस ने पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को राष्ट्रपति और उपराष्ट्रपति पद के उम्मीद तय करने का अधिकार सौंप दिया है l

करने वाला for m
करने वाली means the one who does(f because वाली is written and it indicates f i.e the 'one' is f )
