What are the ground rules to learn German?

    Donno... there is indeed no basic rules. Only more practice can bring you results. Try to learn more vocabulary daily, the rest: grammar and fluency, will come with practice only. We will try to talk german more - promise. Talk to yourself in german when alone, try to think in german.

    Online you may find also lots of websites with very good grammar explanations.
    BTW you may take into consideration to use local resources like city or university libraries: audio, video, books ect.
