Resolved questions
verbul a fi
I've noticed that sometimes instead of conjugated form for 3d sing.person "este" or "e" could be used the form "i".
For example: "Aduce Mariuca si un pui fript, care-i castaniu ca o vioara veche".
Why is it so?
Are there some other verbs that can be conjugated in such non classical manner?

the "i" that you see comes from "îi" i.e. "care îi castaniu ca o vioara veche". Now you might have noticed Romanians like to shorten words, "îi" is just a popular way of replacing "este". People use "îi" instead of "este" only when speaking, never in writing (ok, perhaps the uneducated do). Hope this helps :)
