About こんにちは

I read from a book that says 'こんにちは' is usually used until 11am. Is that true? Can I not say it after 11am?

I've never heard that before. It's not true.

おはよう is not used after 11am. こんにちは is good anytime the sun is out. You might have read it wrong or the book is wrong.
