When starting to learn, it's best to look at common French phrases, get a feel for the grammar, and when you get confident, stop thinking in English entirely.
Let's analyse your sentence for exemple. What you wrote is (if I re-translate it in English) : To make a lot of the* French language speak* English. Gibberish, isn't it ? (The stars are there to show that there is a mistake that is not translatable in English because the subtelity doesn't exist in your language). The thing is, "do" is transalted by "faire" when you mean "to do" as in "to make", but in a question, the translation would be "est-ce que".

Je ne sais pas si les français parlent-ils anglais, quand même, j´ai l´idèe qu ´en Amerique du Nord,en U.S.A, les gens en genéral ne parlent pas plus que sa langue maternelle, sauf des exèptions,bien sûr.
