"Minha maquina é muito carao, boa, então não a levo em todos lugares."

Nesta sentença, por que é "a levo em todos lugares" em vez de "levo em todos lugares," sem "a"?

    It is because you have a direct object in the sentence.
    This happens the same in english.
    A better way of saying that sentence in portuguese would be "A minha máquina é muito boa e cara, por isso não a levo a todos os lugares". In english it would be "My ride is vey good and expensive, so I am not taking it everywhere".
    In the english one you say "...taking "it". This "it" is the direct object.
    "Eu não a levo..." - This "a" is an article replacing the object.
