Please, help me to understand some parts of interview in the magazine.

1) "That expression really hits home." When we understand or relate to something on a very personal level, we say it "hits home". Aside from that, you could also understand "hits home" to mean "is very accurate".

2) "suits challenges" means "is suited to" or "finds challenges welcome".

3) I'm not sure what is meant by "whole" in this sentence, unless that is the name of another pop group. The word "coined" means "created" (like newly-minted coins), but it only refers to phrases and ideas. The expression "drawing up" means "planning".

4) The quote is "I’ve always gotten great, miracle-like opportunities easily". So the opportunities have almost been like a miracle, and she has always received (gotten) them easily.
