Which Pilipino authors would you recommend?
I am interested in reading Tagalog novels...the reason why I want to understand Tagalog better. I ordered a book from the national book store, and noticed that the writing is nothing but modern Tagalog (Slang words.....English sentences here and there) which really throws me off. I would like to know if you have any suggestions on authors today in Pilipino literature (Please don't say Dr. Jose Rizal).
So far I only have read from Eros S. Atalia latest novel......
