    John there is a slight difference between these two words...
    θόρυβος means noise (κάνω θόρυβο = to make noise)
    σαματάς has the meaning of fuss or disturbance (If someone gets in a bar and causes problems because maybe he is drunk or macho then ... κάνει σαματά)
