Some of Indonesian food are famous among foreign people, even according to cnngo.com survey about World's 50 most delicious foods, Indonesian foods (Rendang and Nasi Goreng) were on first and second ranked. Yummmy.

Beef rendang and nasi goreng were the first two things that sprang to mind, but top of my list would be gado-gado (happy nights in an Indonesian restaurant in Soho, London) and gudeg, with lots of jackfruit, (made by my Javan friend).
Sate kambingnya enak sekali! Tapi saya suka hampir semua makanan Indo. Makanan Padang pasti enak, tapi agak pedas bagi saya. Opor ayam, Soto ayam, tempe goren, gadogado...sekarang merasa lapar. :D
Selamat pagi. We have many Indonesian restaurants in Australia. I like Nasi goreng and Gado gado.
It's harder for me because I'm vegetarian, but I guess then the obvious answer would be Tempe dishes. It's pretty unique and gives a nice change from eating tofu, beans, vegetables, etc.
As for food here in Canada, the Indonesian food isn't usually very high quality, so I don't eat it too often. It's usually too greasy.
One of the favorite things I've tried which was sent to me by my Indonesian mother in law was some homemade Sambal Pete. I used it all up a while ago, and the sambal you can buy in Canada doesn't taste anything like it!

Once I was with a friend in his home in Cianjur and it was so good: Sundanese food.
The only drawback for me is when to much chili.
