What is the difference between neyi and neden? Do i use neyi in different way than neden?

I guess you meant "Niye", not "Neyi".
Niye and Neden mean exactly the same which is Why
But if you asked about "Neyi"; here is my explanation
Ne: What
Neyi:What --> When we ask about a certain object with certain verbs, ne also works for such sentences.
examples:
Ne gördün? Neyi gördün? What did you see?
Neyi unuttun evde? Ne unuttun evde? What did you forget at home?
