the difference between "пересадка" "переход"
according to dictionary both of them are noun and have the meaning of "transfer", then are they indentical in usage?

Пересадка has two meanings:
1. Transplantation. About the stuff that grows, like hair or plants. (related to the verb "пересадить")
2. The change of the transport (bus, plane etc.)
Переход has different translations. E.g.:
Подземный переход - underground passage,
Переход в сторону врага - passage to the enemy side,
Переход в какое-либо состояние - transition to some condition.
The basic meaning is "passage from...(1) to...(2)".
