1- it's a must for men but not for women.
2- baptising is not in Islam,, because the human nature since babyhood is to be a believer in Allah(being a muslim),,, but the parents change the human nature for their kids to their religion by baptising them. that's why all other religions need to baptising new borns.

I can not recall any verse in the Holy Qur´an stating that
no, the qur´an does not state any thing about baptising, Muslims do not have to baptise
