Depending on the situation, I change the words.
「どうしたの？」のほかにも、じょうきょうによって、「どうかした？」とか「なにがあったの？」とかもつかいます。ほかにもあるとおもいます。れいぶんがないとなんともわかりませんね～

Hiragana: りょうほうとも、ふつうは、「どうしたの？」っていいますね・・・。
Kanji: 両方とも、普通は、「どうしたの？」って言いますね・・・。
English: We normally use どうしたの？ for both of these.
