what is the meaning of oskol kardan?

I heard this word the other day, but every time I hear it, people tell me it means something different.

someone told me that oskol is a stupid bird that forgets where it puts its food.

I also heard that it is a curse word but everyone says it.

is it the same as oskol shodam? I think i should only use this when I'm speaking to a girl.

please help me, I'm so confused haha.

oskol is a stupid bird that forgets where it puts its food.
and if anyone says to you that your name Oskol're like the stupid bird Oskol

oskol kardan : it means that someone has mocked you
or if someone're stupid or something stupid to react then you say he is Oskol

generally its means so confused, deuced, stupid, dizzy etc... with a feel of anger or appeal. but its informal I don't recommend to use it anyway instead you may use "gij". No difference in gender. about the bird I heard it too but I'm not sure.
    oskol shodam: I'm confused.
oskolam kardi: (stop it) you made me confused.

please help me, I'm so confused haha:
    lotfan komakam konid, oskol shodam!
    see also: koskhol

" oskol kardan " usually means " fooling, mocking ". when you say: " oskolam kard " it means" he/she fooled me ". and when you use " oskol " for someone's acts, you mean that he/she is " fool , stupid "

it's informal and is used ONLY with close friends. it's not recommended to use it in front of elders or in a formal situation.
and the story about the bird is a common fake fiction, not a true story.

    Oskol means Stupid and fool,
"Oskol kardan" means that a person is misleading another person by giving him wrong information or using another way , In this situation, the second person looks stupid, and it is said that "Oskol shode", and the first person is the one who 'oskol karde'
also note that "Oskol" is a slang word. Although it is not a very bad slang word , but it is not used in formal persian language. you can use this word when you speak with your friends :)
