Indo-Japan Relations What does shirushi mean here? 日印関係
I wanted to say Indo-Japan Relations and My Google Translate gave me nichi shirushi kankei 日印関係 and when type in Hiragana and Kanji it correctly translates in Indo-Japan Relations. But there is no word for India as "indo" in that word. Is shirushi doing the job? What is the meaning of Shirushi???

印(いん) is the abbreviation of 印度[いんど], インド, India.
日印[にちいん]=India-Japan
日英[にちえい]=Britain-Japan
日米[にちべい]=America-Japan
