Article and gender in Korean.
I think the answer is no, but for certainty I just ask.
Does the Korean language use articles? I mean the words a, an, the in English.
Does the Korean language give a gender to nouns? Since English does not, I cannot give you an example in English. But in most other Indo Germanic languages, f.e. French, Spanish, German, all nouns have a gender.
The chair is der Stuhl in German, and male, it is la chaise in French, feminine, and la silla in Spanish, also feminine. The article (der, la) indicates the gender.
