どうして or なぜ , in order to sak why , when i need to use this words ?

They mean the same, なぜ is a little more formal.
Ex; Why don't you come here yesterday? どうして/ なぜ あなたは昨日ここに来なかったのですか？ Both are correct.
In our daily conversation, we usually say どうして. We can use it to the persons who are older than us.
Between close people, どうして(あなたは)昨日ここに来なかったの？
