If you plan to do it by your own..
you may need a proper schedule to follow!
And maybe you can add in your list some minutes to practice your conversation skills.

Wish you good luck.. and a lot of persistence!
Looks good in principle. You need a good grammar book, or good grammar resources on the internet. Also remember there are four different types of language skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking. You need to practice all four. Depending on the person, some skills are easier to learn than others, so you must find out what works for you.

As Jessica has said, if you study on your own, the hardest part is motivating yourself to keep going. Some people need a schedule. Some people need other means of motivation.

I use Anki (http://ankisrs.net/) to learn vocabulary, maybe it's helpful for you, too.

There is not much you wouldn't be able to learn online for little money. I tried it with Indonesian: I got a book, read all the texts, did all the grammar exercises, learned the vocabulary, wrote one sentence for each new word on an italki-like internet site, wrote longer texts and listened to the dialogs over and over again. After six month I got a language parter and was able to hold a basic conversation. Another six months later I booked lessons in a language institute in Indonesia. My teachers put me in the class for advanced learners straight away. They said, it is hard to believe, that I never took a regular lesson before. I believe, the main reason that I was able to keep up learning for a whole year was, that I got to know so many interesting people through my posts on the iTalki-like internet site, and that I made it a habit to write one text a day after work.
