if i want to say "why", which is more appropriate? "なぜ” or "どうして”? what's the best use for each?

what's the best time to use "なぜ” and what's the best time to use "どうして”? is it okay to freely use them in any "why" sentences as i pleased? thanks~

なぜ＞どうして＞なんで
formal > casual

these are all the same meaning ;)

Both is the same meaning, it is like as "Because" and "That's why".

It is ok freely use them, but "なぜ" is more formaly I think.
