They carry the same meaning but a little bit different expression. Both of them are Mandarin.For example,in English "Just a second, please " and "Wait for a moment, please","just a moment, please".They have the same meaning.
But just like Japanese, there're some dialects in Chinese.
e.g.English "where" Cantonese"边度" Chinese Mandarin "哪里" .
The same principle likes 京都弁→「美人」(びじん) , 大阪弁→别嫔」(べっぴん).
