Your question is correct (except you forgot the preposition "to", "listen to the beat.."), but I'd say:
Come si dice "listen to your heartbeat"?
"Ascolta il battito del tuo cuore" , "ascolta il tuo battito cardiaco", o semplicemente "ascolta il tuo battito".
Se intendi "cuore" come "spirito, anima, insieme dei tuoi sentimenti..." allora puoi anche dire "ascolta il tuo cuore" (listen to your heart).
