Pronunciation 우 and 오

I am following an on line course: 'Talk to me in Korean', the first level.

There is one girl there, that girl is from Seoul. To me it seems that the girl pronounces the 오 almost like an 우, while the other speakers do not. Is that 'Seoul' dialect?

To me it seems that 오 should be something like the 'o' in 'go'.
And I thought the 우 would be like the 'o' in 'too'. With this girl it's like both are like the 'o' in 'too'.

    Yes, you're right. It's Seoul dialect.^^'
Sometimes I also tend to speak like that even though it's not the standard. Actually I didn't notice that it was a dialect before.

    For example,
    1) 나도(me too) ☞ 나두
    2) 없고요(I don't have...) ☞ 없구요
    3) 별로(not really..) ☞ 별루
