Please can you explain 多出了 in this sentence.

你发现自己走进超市就想花钱吗，你发现最后你的支出远远超出了你本来的计划，你发现家中多出了许多原本不需要的东西？

I can not understand what it means, my best guess would be many, but why use 了 after many and if it means many, why use 许多 as well?

The only other thing I can think of is, it might have something to do with unpacking, taking things out of the bags?

I really don‘t get this bit. Please can you explain the meaning and grammar of 多出了。

1. ”多出“here is like a verb, but not a adj.

2. "了" is used as auxiliary here, which means sth is changed.（here the whole sentence means: there are more unnecessary stuff that i shouldn't buy) You can also delete "出“ and say ”多了许多.."
more examples: 盘子里少了许多苹果（ there are many apples missing on the plates)

3. like the example, "许多“ is used to explain how many stuff that are unnecessary. it is not tautological.
