    开灯is ok, it's unecessary to add sth. in the gap, it's also based on what kind of situation you use it. brief one is better

    "turn on the light"meaning “开灯”
    "I have turned on the light"meaning"我开过灯了"

    I usually just say: 开电。

    none of you noticed there is a past tense?

    著了過三字 以了適用 "開了燈"
    雖然原文是過去式
    但是時態在中文裡 不會被過分強調
    故填上量詞亦可 "開盞燈"
