Speaking "r" in Japanese
Why don't speak Japanese the letter r? In southern Europe it sounds like rrrrrrrrr. In Germany it sounds like rr. And in Japan

We don't have the pronunciation "R" as "R" of English. I don't know why we write with R when we write らりるれろ, but we pronounce them just like "LA LI LU LE LO" of English.
Why should they? I could just as well ask you, why don't European languages have long vowels (whereas Japanese has them)? In Europe we have /l/ and /r/, in Japanese they have /ɽ/ instead, which can be placed somewhere between those two sounds.
