the word قفل (qifl) means lock and the word خزائن ( khaza-en) is the plural of the word خزينة ( khazinah) which means safe or locker or even closet ( you know a safe where you safe money and all the precious things ) in general the word خزينة comes from the word خزن --> يخزن which means to store so the word actually means something like "a place to store in "
    examples:
    فتحت القفل بالمفتاح ( fata7tu-lqifla bil-mifta7 )
I opened the lock with the key.

كان عند الملك خزائن ذهب . ( kana 3inda-lmaleki khaza-ina thahab)
the King had safes for Gold ( or Gold safes )

    hope I could help :)
