    Plus, If you ask somebody, " Where did you go yesterday?"
    You don't need to say "you " in Japanese, because you're directly talking to him/her as "you".
    So in Japanese,
    「きのう どこに 行ったの?」 
    should suffice to ask.

     

    Yes of course! Actually this sentence sounds more natural without using "I".!
    Just for your information: unlike English and some other laguage you don't repeat "I" all the time. Most of the time the action verb makes it clear about who you are talking about.
    In this case, 食べたい refers to YOU YOURSELF wanting to eat something.
