okay, it is true that MSA is the lingua franca of arabe tribes in national stage.
but in the real life of all arabe nations countries in their own countries, ppl who is quite really fews.
and foreigners who study MSA encounter this hardship, the arabe can understand us more or less, but when they reply it to us we have have a hardtime to understand them, due to
1) they don't speak good in MSA
2) their own accents influenced their MSA,
3) and just a few ppl can speak MSA, we have a hardtime to meet those in street in the real life
4) they are shy to speak MSA, because it is not nature for them, and ppl may makeing fun of them.
etc etc
PS: how you say 1) to 4) in arabic? and please also give us its reading

In my own view, if the arabe union don't relize the important of reset MSA, make the policy and really make MSA is the living language, schooling using only MSA in all arabe countries.
if they don't agree on this and not takes it in action, i think it will takes more then 50 decades to reach like "China" that have succeed in promote "Mandarin" as the language of the country and worldwide, even they are varies and hundreds of local dialects existing.
