Difference between -서 and -니까?

I was doing my Korean homework, but got stuck with an exercise where one has to choose which one to use with the sentences. The book doesn't tell what the difference between them is, same meanings are given to both. Also, the following examples are given in the exercise:

So if someone could explain me what the difference between -서 and -니까 is I would be very grateful. ^^

"-아/어/여서" is usually followed by declarative sentences, but "-(으) 니까" is often used in imperative sentences or let's - sentences like the second example you took.^^'

    e.g.
