Using 其中 and 中
I'm getting really confused with 其中 and 中, how they're used and when you can put a 的 after them. When do you have to put 的 after 其中/中? I'd appreciate it if you can explain this to me as well as give me some examples since I'm not sure when to use 中 or 其中. Thank you.

中means in the middle of sth
in general put 的 when used as adj. otherwise they are adv.
鸟在空中飞 adv
中is often combined with 间when used for describing position.
桌子在客厅中间
在客厅中间的桌子
其中means among, including and within
他们其中有一个老师, there's a teacher among them

These two teachers are Chinese teachers among this teacher group.In Chinese:

中 means in the middle of sth. For example:
He stands in the middle of the classroom. In Chinese:

的 You can put 的 after 其中 or don`t put.that`s all ok. But we don`t put 的 after 中 in ordinary occasions. But in the ancient China,our ancestors use 中的 In Ping Yin: zhong4 di2
