"Qué remedio" is a common expression in Spain
I think is the equivalent in chinese as: "没办法"
Indicates resignation to something you can not fix or change.
It means that there is nothing can be done. I have no choice.

"Remedio" is a medicament... But in others contexts it can be used as solution for a problem, or is used as a exclamation for resignation (i think that this one is the mean of your question).
For example:
"No podré ver mi programa de televisión favorito esta noche, ¡qué remedio!."
