Resolved questions
Why people don't use "Sie" but "Es" in this sentence?

The sentence is " Es sind gelbe Blumen" .

Does "Es sind" means "They are" here?

if it does, "Es" means "it", "Sie" means "They", that's why i don't understand why it's wrong to say "Sie sind". Anyone could help me with this? i'm a beginner to learn German. thanks a lot~!!! :)
