Eloped means to get married in secrecy or to get married away from family/friends without having a ceremony. Usually when someone gets eloped (or elopes) it means that their family doesn't approve of their marriage or that the couple decides to get married without telling anyone. In this case I would need more context to fully explain the sentence because it could mean a couple of things depending on the time frames involved. It definitely means that the woman ran away with her husband and got married privately (maybe secretly) then gave birth to her first baby. I can see two possible scenarios to the sentence. 1.) she was pregnant and close to her due date so she got married in secret and had the baby soon thereafter or 2.) she got married in secret then had a baby much later. I could see #1 making the most sense if she was worried about having her baby out of wedlock so she ran away to get married before delivery.
