Yes, some people DO use the word "вторый" (accent is on the "o") instead of "второй". But be careful that such pronunciation "вторый" is not the standard Russian language, but vernacular. You can hear "вторый" mainly from very old (usually not educated) men and women living in remote Russian villages.

Summa summarum: The vernacular pronunciation "вторый" DOES really exist, but I warn you of using it, or else you will look like uneducated muzhik from an abandoned Russian village.

    Нет, только "вторОй".

    second - второй

Well, as far as I can judge, there are a lot of people who call themselves Russians, but in fact they know their own language very poor.
Please, click this link http://www.akafist.ru/saints/85-svyatitel-allexiy/193-kanon-usp-2 and you will see the word "вторый". It is quite normal and the only possible variant for the Russian Orthodoxe Church language (as the Russian Orthodoxe Church uses the old Russian language for the liturgies).

But once again - DO NOT use the word "вторый" in the colloquial speech (i.e. in the modern spoken Russian language), or else your Russian will sound uneducated and clerical pretentiously. ;-)
