I agree with ESL Teacher Hamish, "the same something" is not correct and not used. I would like to give you a definition of the word something and maybe that will help you understand better.

The word something can be used as a pronoun, noun, or adverb. As a prounoun it means an unspecified thing. Here are two sentence examples: Something is wrong there. Something is happening.

Or as a prounoun it can mean "an additional amount" as in the following sentence. Our train gets in at two something. Meaning maybe 2:15 and when the speaker was talking he did not know the exact time so he said "two something".

As a noun used in informal speech it can mean a person or thing of some value or consequence. An example would be : He is really something !

And the last example would be using "something" as an adverb meaning
"in some degree". Informally we may think of it as a high or extreme degree. Look at this example.
"He took on something fierce about my tardiness."

I hope those examples help you realize that saying "The same "something" can not be used.
